Thunderbolt Wood Treating Company, Inc. is a privately owned corporation located in Riverbank, California. Established in 1978, Thunderbolt's ownership had the vision and foresight to build an environmentally sound facility and to that end is a "Zero Discharge Facility."

Over the years we have established a reputation for quality, on time services. Thunderbolt has been listed by "The Merchant Magazine" as one of the top ten Western Wood Treaters. We provide treating services for lumber, plywood, timber, poles and a variety of agricultural products to meet our customers' specifications. Our treating services are EPA approved and meet AWPA (American Wood Preservers Association) standards. We are proud participants in the Western Wood Preservers Institutes' (WWPI) "Check Mark Program", third party quality assurance program that assures that we meet the strict requirements of the Uniform Building Code (UBC) as mandated by the American Lumber Standards Committee (ALSC).

Thunderbolt is a proud, participating member of the Lumber Association of California and Nevada (LACN).

Thunderbolt is located in Central California approximately ten miles Northeast of Modesto, with easy access to all major interstate freeways.
