Thunderbolt’s diversified and environmentally responsible treating plant provides the following wood treatments and services:

● BORATES (SBX-DOT) A non-arsenical treatment for sill plate and other materials used in areas continuously protected from exposure to liquid water.
● COPPER AZOLE (CA-B) A non-arsenical treatment for exterior use, environmentally safe for residential, industrial and agricultural uses . Carries the “Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval”.
● BROWNTONE STAINING For landscape and decking material
● AMINE COPPER QUAT (ACQ) For exterior use, another non-arsenical treatment for exterior use in residential, industrial and agricultural applications. ACQ is approved for use in salt water splash zones. Has been awarded the EPA's Presidential Green Chemistry Award.
● CHEMONITE® (ACZA) In use for over 65 years, an effective treatment for Coastal Douglas Fir, offers protection from marine borers and targeted wood destroying organisms and insects.
● CHROMATED COPPER ARSENATE (CCA) For use in EPA approved industrial and agricultural applications.
● D-BLAZE®, Fire Retardant Treated (FRT) A new generation construction material for weather-protected applications.
● WOOD DRYING (KD), (KDAT) For material requiring drying after treatment (KDAT) or applications requiring green lumber dried to specifications such as KD 19%.
● HEAT TREATING (HT): IPPC Standard (ISPM-15)
● Treatments and Services are third party inspected or monitored by Timber Products Inspection, Inc. (TPI)
● Custom cutting service is available.
● We are located on the BNSF rail line with a private onsite spur. Container loading service is available.
